My wife and I have decided to embark on our 2nd honeymoon to Paris, in May 2010 & we would like to invite you lovebirds to walk down the streets of Old Paris with us, as we breathe in the romance and capture the charms of one of the most lovely city in the world.

We are offering a fantastic package for couples who wish to have their Bridal / Casual Portrait Sessions in the City of Lights. How fantastic you might ask? Well, let’s just say that, since we are going there with or without you, the photographer’s airfare is pretty much out of the equation. Sounds good? Well it is! haha

Do note though that slots are limited as we are taking up a maximum of 3 couples only at the end of our personal trip, with the photoshoot dates estimated to be between 15 – 18 May.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival

Mid-autumn festival is always a joyous occasion, as families gather to enjoy mooncakes & pomelos while admiring the full moon.

Although I will not be able to spend the day with my family, I am still happy that I will be able to witness a wonderful couple, Jenny & Gerald’s wedding. And I am very sure we will have a smashing time! :D

Hong Kong . Hong Kong

There is something about the pearl of the orient that keeps me intrigued and urges me to go back again and again….

it’s definitely not the shopping for me (more for wifey)

maybe it’s the character of the streets and architecture…

or it could be the people…

it could well be the food too, oh the food… wonderful mango deserts, delicious (unhealthy) roadside stalls bites, tim sum…

Whatever it is… I wanna go back again. This time, I wanna see much more than a usual tourist would and I want to capture hong kong with even better equipments! (the shots above were taken sometime back and are not taken on my current DSLRs and L lenses)

I am planning to go again in August when there aren’t that many ADs to cover (which also would be a good time for my wife to do a LITTLE shopping as it is their GRAND SALE period). I might even extend my stay past the usual one week this time round, because with a little bit of luck, my stay in HK might coincide with Joho’s Hong Kong Bridal Promotion. No.. it’s not some raunchy sex thingie, although it does sound suggestive :P

What I mean is that, the expressivelyjOhO website has finally been relaunched and my works are fully featured there along with new, never seen before works by Jonathan Ho.

We have been working late nights, trying to get the website up and I am relieved it’s finally here. (3 cheers to all involved in the process)

Oh.. and I have been too busy of late to come up with new wedding slideshows, but I managed to do up a new one for the new website, featuring Desmond and Hazel. I will try to upload it here when I have a bit more time, but for those who cannot wait, you can check it out under collections at the new site.

Wishing you an Enchanting Christmas…

It’s gonna be an interesting 2009, and I will be involved in a new and big project! Watch this space for more info as we draw closer to the new year.

Meantime, for the uninitiated, there is an ongoing PROMOTION at the moment for couples getting married between now and Jun 2009. Promotion lasts until 31 Dec 2008, so better hurry and mail me those inquiries before it’s too late. And trust me, you will regret if you don’t act fast! hahaha

And Hey! It’s Christmas Eve! I didn’t quite feel that Christmas was approaching, probably because I was too busy with all the weddings and editing. Nevertheless, this will hopefully be the 1st of many Christmas that I will be blogging here and I wanna wish all you wonderful guys and gals out there a Super Duper Merry Christmas.

Relief

A weight was finally lifted off my shoulders this afternoon when the panel of esteemed judges deemed me worthy of a place as a Licentiate of the MPA (Master Photographers Association). Thanks alot to the group of photographers who helped me along in my short career as a wedding photographer thus far and also to all my lovely couples who entrusted their magical day to me. I will do my best to keep improving!
